Prof. Russell LANSBURY
Emeritus Professor of the University of Sydney
Russell Lansbury is Emeritus Professor of Work and Organisational Studies in the School of Business at the University of Sydney, where he served for over 20 years as Head of Department and Associate Dean. He holds degrees in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Melbourne and a PhD from the London School of Economics. He has been a Senior Fulbright Fellow at the Sloan School of Management at MIT, a visiting scholar at the International Institute for Labour Studies at the ILO in Geneva and at the Swedish Institute for Worklife Research. He is a former President of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association. His major research contributions have been in the fields of international and comparative studies of employment relations and management. He has served as a consultant to the ILO and OECD as well as governments, business and trade unions in various countries.
