The Arbitration Council Foundation (ACF) organised the first training of trainers on the topic of “Labour Dispute Resolution Procedures, Arbitration Council (AC)’s process, and Case Preparation skills” at the Sunway Hotel from 28 to 30 August 2018. This course was aimed to strengthen the capacity of 28 selected focal persons, who represent employees and employers from the garment sector.
After attending this course, participants will be able to organize sharing sessions on labour dispute resolution procedures and the AC for their colleagues at their own factories. The ACF will provide technical support.
On 28 December 2018, with support from ACF, the trainers organised a sharing session on the Labour Dispute Resolution Process and the Arbitration Council at the Violet Apparel (Cambodia) Co., Ltd. Sixty garment workers attended the session.
