Phnom Penh: On December 4, the Arbitration Council Foundation (ACF) in collaboration with the Better Factory Cambodia (ILO-BFC) had organized a training on “Gender-Based Violence and Harassment and ILO convention 190” for Arbitrators, Secretariat of Arbitration Council, and ACF staffs, total 25 participants, including 16 women.
This training was facilitated by Mrs. Nou Pheary, Mrs. Tho Thida, and Mrs. Ros Sereysocheata Gender specialist of Better Factory Cambodia (ILO-BFC).
This training is conducted for the right purposes of building capacity of all participants to:
1) Understand the scope of ILO Convention 190 and Recommendation 206 on gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work.
2) Improving the understanding of the definitions and forms of violence and harassment
3) Understand on the grievance mechanism, including the system of reporting and response to gender-based violence and harassment
Through presentation and active discussion, all participants understand deeply all the contents of the training and able to identify the mechanisms to prevent and address the gender-based violence and harassment in the world of work.
